The agreement is retroactive to March 1, 2015, ensuring people enrolled in UHC plans do not experience any interruption in their in-network benefits coverage for services received at CHS facilities and physicians.
This renewed relationship will lay the foundation for continued collaboration and will help shift the health care system in the Carolinas from one based on volume of care to one that rewards quality and patient outcomes.
