Handling Holiday time in your FMLA rules

A great article in FMLA express this month discusses the challenges of handling requests by employees on FMLA for Holiday pay – “After all, you pay the employees and don’t I get the same rights?

Long and short of it, it is to be determined “by the employers established policy” which most likely means – if its not established in writing in advance, it doesn’t protect you.
