(CNN) – The number of uninsured Americans has plummeted in 2014, after millions gained health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, according to new data the government released Tuesday.
Overall, the uninsured rate fell to 13.1 percent from 14.4 percent.
The results were compiled by the CDC, which doesn’t specifically attribute the decline to Obamacare.
It does, however, show the health care reform is reaching its goal: reducing the number of uninsured.
