According to the Federal Government, only 106,185 people signed up for Obamacare in the first month. But is is far more interesting than that:
In the 36 states that are on the Federal Exchange, less than 27,000 signed up. State Exchanges accounted for the vast majority of signups. In states that I service, NY had 16,404, 741 in NJ, 4418 in Ct, 572 in South Carolina, and 3571 in South Carolina.
The most significant information is that more than 396,000 Americans have been determined to be eligible for Medicaid, but only half the states have signed on for the expanded medicaid (to 138% of Federal Poverty Level).
More recently enrollments do seem to be picking up.
