From time to time, I tend to rant on about terrible customer service that I experience. So I would like to take this opportunity to “catch someone doing something good.”
On very short notice, Mary and I decided we needed a break. We did a little research, and came across Phil Hesters Mountain House. Its north of Clemson, up overlooking Lake Jocassee. The pictures were beautiful and it looked perfect. It was also priced very reasonably, with four bedrooms, a stunning kitchen and living room, and a screened in porch on the mountainside.
Phil was wonderful to work with, and the house was everything advertised and more. It sits up high on the mountainside, overlooking beautiful scenery to the north. It was quiet, with no neighbors in view. It’s about 30 minutes to Clemsons Death Valley, but there is a nice market within about 5 minutes. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away for some solitude. Visit it here at http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p330415.
Its also a great place to stay for a Clemson game this season – except the North Carolina game – we already booked it!
